Citizen Perspective is looking for a passionate and creative Video Editor Intern to support our news, interview, and public-interest content.
Role Overview
The Video Editor Intern will help edit news reports, interviews, talk shows, short social media clips, and other video content for Citizen Perspective.
Responsibilities
- Edit news, interview, and talk show videos.
- Create short clips for social media platforms.
- Add subtitles, captions, titles, lower-thirds, logos, and basic graphics.
- Improve audio quality, video flow, and visual presentation.
- Work remotely with the editorial and media team.
- Respect publication deadlines and follow editorial instructions.
Requirements
- Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Ability to create clean, professional, and engaging video content.
- Interest in journalism, media, interviews, and public-interest reporting.
- Ability to communicate online and work remotely.
- Knowledge of Bengali, English, or French is an advantage.
Position Type
This is a paid 6-month internship with a monthly stipend of 5,000.
Based on performance, commitment, and organizational needs, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent after the internship period.
